You can customize the display name of the Worknet Slack app in your workspace by updating the bot user settings. This is useful if you want the app to appear under a different name in conversations or the sidebar.
Follow these steps:
🔧 Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Slack and locate the Worknet app in the Apps section on the left sidebar.
Right-click on the Worknet app and select “View app details.”
An App Details card will open. Click the “Configuration” button on the card.
You’ll be redirected to a web page showing the configuration settings for the Worknet app.
On this page, go to the Configuration tab (if not already selected), then scroll down to the Bot User section.
Click the Edit button next to the bot name, change the name to your desired display name, and save your changes.
✅ That’s it! The new name should take effect across your Slack workspace. If you don’t see the change immediately, refresh Slack (Cmd + R on Mac / Ctrl + R on Windows).
💡 Tip
Changing the bot display name updates how the Worknet app appears in messages and mentions, but the app will still be listed as Worknet in the Slack App Directory.
